2024 Show Begins 6:00 PM Sunday December 1st!
Now Showing
Doctor Wizard's Giant Musical Holiday Light Show welcomes visitors of all faiths and beliefs! Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, but there are many other holidays in December both religious and secular. Our display features a large nativity scene and Star of Bethlehem. We also have a giant Menorah and Star of David, a Yule Log, a huge Neon Peace Sign, a Mega-Wreath, a Festivus Pole (For the Rest of Us!) and a Flying Spaghetti Monster. There are over 50 trees in the display.
The show changes and gets bigger every year, if you haven't been recently you need to come see it again! It is the biggest synchronized holiday light display in Clay County. We now feature over 23,000 LED lights plus another 10,000 RGB pixels. And projectors, lasers, strobes, and even disco balls! The lights, (not including the pixels), are on about 200 channels. Add another 30,000 channels for the pixels! There is over 2-1/4 miles of wires and cords and nearly 1000 plugs and connectors. The show runs for 37 days but takes 8 weeks to set up, and another 8 weeks after New Years to take it all down, clean, test and repair things, and put it all away for next September.
We have been featured on First Coast News and Action News Jax, The Florida Times-Union, and WOKV Talk Radio. We are a member of the Tacky Light Tour and have been nominated twice for the Earnest P. Worrell Award. We also have a Facebook page where you can like us and leave comments and reviews and get the latest info about the display.
The show is absolutely totally FREE! But if you like the show (or even if you don't) please consider making a donation to SAFE Animal Shelter in Middleburg. We have a donation box right out front for ca$h or checks, and a QR code for online donations. We will also accept dog and cat food (sealed), cat litter, toys, beds, paper towels, and old towels and blankets. Is your old artificial Christmas tree looking worse-for-wear and outdated? Half the lights don't work? Donate to us! We will refurbish it, put new lights on it, and put it in the show where your old tree will continue to delight (bad pun) thousands of visitors each year.
The display can be seen from space (well, sorta).
As awesome as our display is, there are several in Duval and St. John's counties that are even bigger. List of other local First Coast Holiday Light Shows... We still believe though that Wizlights is the best and most eclectic (in our own humble opinion!)YouTube videos of musical holiday light shows. We especially recommend Tom BetGeorge's Magical Light Shows.
